CITY OF CENTERVILLE REQUEST <br />FOR COMMITTEE ACTION <br />77, <br />1tervi e <br />Agenda Item # <br />Department: <br />Requested Meeting Date: <br />V.3 <br />Parks <br />December 4, 2019 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />19-028 Park Facility Use Permit Application - Centennial Youth Hockey <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The committee previously tabled this item, asking for more detailed schedule information to avoid conflicts <br />with other organizations requesting time on the ice. Typically, organizations requesting the use of our fields, <br />ice or other facilities are doing so in order to know which facilities they will have to choose from when setting <br />their schedules. Therefore, their requests tend to be broad and all -encompassing of the potential times they <br />might need. Once they've established all the facilities available to them, they will meet and make a schedule for <br />the league. Then, they submit that schedule to each city or facility owner. It is staffs suggestion, that the <br />committee simply let the organization know of any restrictions they wish to put on the use of the facility. <br />Examples, might be: No Fridays, only after 6 PM, max 3 days/week, no use of pleasure rink, etc. This lets the <br />league know what availability constraints they have. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />No cost.
