Atlas Villas Memory Care Project (Main Street) <br />Staff and consultants held a teleconference with the prospective developer and operator <br />of the proposed Memory Care facility to gain better understanding of their intended <br />operation. Specifics of staffing levels, training, security, day to day operations, state and <br />county licensure and other issues were discussed in detail. We are working with the <br />applicant to put into writing these operational expectations, so that they can become a <br />formal part of our proposed land use permit. We anticipate being ready to have a Public <br />Hearing at the January Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Development Inquiries <br /> None <br />General <br /> Follow-up on several ongoing code violations <br />residents) have agreed to attend a non- <br />binding mediation session to see if a compromise can be worked out. The issue was tabled as the business owner <br />expressed plans to comply with the requirements laid out by the zoning administrator by <br />the end of August. A follow-up letter was sent to the business owner, requiring him to <br />abate the nuisance before the next Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. The <br />owner has not taken any action to abate the nuisance. The matter is being handed to the <br /> <br /> <br />
