The 2020 dates will be Tuesday, <br />th <br />July 14 through Saturday, July 19. <br /> <br />The committee members were asked to consider the following: appointing a <br />representative & alternate to the Fete des Lacs Committee, defining the role for that <br />representative and confirming events the city should organize/fund in 2020. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Waeghe, seconded by Committee <br />Member Freiermuth to appoint committee members Bettinger and Peterson as <br />co-liaisons to the Fete des Lacs committee. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The responsibilities of these liaisons are to be determined; it has been recommended <br />that the committee members take a lead role in the planning of Fete des Lacs and <br />consider it a Park & Rec activity. <br /> VI. NEW COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. <br />The committee members, by consensus, chose to reschedule the January meeting <br />stth <br />date from January 1 to January 8. <br />2. Centennial Lakes Little League, Park Facility Permit Application <br /> <br />A request for the use of the Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park from, April 1 through <br />September, 2020, Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm until dark, has been <br />received from the Centennial Lakes Little League. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee member Waeghe, seconded by Committee member <br />Seeley to recommend to the City Council to tentatively approve the Centennial <br />Lakes Little League request contingent upon them providing a detailed <br />schedule in the spring. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Power in LLM Park for Fetes des Lacs <br />Additional power is needed during Fete des Lacs; discussed using/adding outlets at <br />the warming house, add a power distribution box, 50 amp plug, spider or octopus <br />plugs etc. Bids need to be obtained for options for adding power & once approved <br />and installed, the cost of said electricity would need to be shared the Lions & the <br />City.
