P & Z Recommendation for Variance Granting – 1687 Sorel Street <br /> <br />Mayor Paar provided an opportunity for Council to add or remove any item(s) to the consent <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing, obtained <br />public input and recommended approval of a variance request for Ms. Julie Lindsay, owner of <br />1687 Sorel Street, to construct a fence in excess of the 3’ code requirement (not to exceed 4’) and <br />in the front yard with it not to be a decorative fence as per City Code but a chain link fence. He <br />stated that Ms. Lindsay desired for the fence to follow the pedestrian trail which runs along her <br />westerly property line. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Koski to Approve the <br />Consent Agenda as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Ordinance #XX, - Second Series – Fee Schedule Changes (2nd Reading) <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that previously, Council approved adding the fire hose connection fee <br />and had considered additional language shown in the draft amendment regarding the issue of WAC <br />fee multiplication by SAC units. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar requested that Administrator Statz provide the information previously requested for <br />Commercial accounts pertaining to SAC units and examples of how the new calculation would <br />affect those accounts as currently billed and then with several options such a 2-5 units being <br />utilized for multipliers along with their full amounts of SAC units for comparison. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Koski to Table Ordinance <br />#XX, - Second Series – Fee Schedule Changes (2nd Reading) Until Such Time as Additional <br />Information Can Be Provided. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser suggested that Item #4 of the Consent Agenda be reconsidered and placed <br />under New Business, Item #1, since they had inadvertently approved the resolution before the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
