<br />Council agreed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson asked whether Council wished to set a work session for <br />budget discussions. He then said that Staff would like to set a meeting to have <br />developers meet with Council for a presentation and input. It was noted that Council had <br />already set August 2, 2006 for a budget worksession. <br /> <br />Council set August 9, 2006 for a work session with the developers. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that prior to budget there should be a work session on July 12, <br />2006. <br /> <br />Council agreed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that there were employees driving City vehicles in <br />the parade last year and asked what Council would like to do this year. <br /> <br />Council agreed to have City employees driving in the parade this year. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra suggested three to four Staff members and asked that Public Works work <br />on set up for the parade, if necessary. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Lino Lakes would like the County to reconsider <br />access onto 20th A venue and they are going to submit a letter to the City to consider <br />partnering to ask the County to review traffic movements. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the first phase of the St. Paul Water Utility <br />property (1601 LaMotte Drive) was closed yesterday and the City can move toward <br />tearing the home down. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the Fire Department and Police Department <br />would like to do some training inthe home prior to demolition or removal. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra said she would call Habitat for Humanity to see if they would have a <br />location for it. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra requested that the bars be removed from the window of 1694 Sorel Street <br />to be retained due to historical value and that they are from the old Centerville jail. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that Mr. Meyer has surveyed enough of downtown to know that <br />51 % meet the income requirements for the grant programs. <br /> <br />2.
