<br />Council Member Paar said that he was glad to see that the Police Department is taking <br />enforcement seriously as outlined in the report by the number of warnings and tickets <br />issued. He then thanked the Police Department for the work that they do. <br /> <br />Council Member Terway thanked the Department and congratulated them for a job well <br />done. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Steve McDonald, ABDO, Eick & Meyers - 2005 Annual Audit <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald from ABDO, Eick & Meyers provided an overview of the 2005 Annual <br />Audit for Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Terway asked what processes are going to be changing in terms of the <br />audit. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald indicated that accounting standards GASB 43 and GASB 45 will not <br />come into play until 2008 and there will be nothing significant involved with those <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated she was concerned about the journal entries. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald indicated that they would like to see more detail and Staff agreed. <br /> <br />3. Centerville Lion's - 2006 Fete des Lacs Celebration & Use of City Logo <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst appeared before Council seeking approval of the permits for the 2006 <br />Fete des Lacs celebration. <br /> <br />4. Mr. Todd Wolner/Centerville Lion's - 1st Annual Fete des Lacs Kids Fishing <br />Contest - 2006 Fete des Lacs Celebration <br /> <br />Mr. Wolner appeared before Council seeking approval for the Fishing Contest scheduled <br />as part of the Fete des Lacs celebration. <br /> <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Receive and Accept the 2005 Audit <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar. seconded by Council Member Terway to receive <br />and accent the 2005 Audit. All in favor.
