City of White Bear Lake <br />Park & Recreation Committee <br />January 8, 2020 <br />a new light pole during the summer. The cost of the electricity would be the <br />responsibility of the City. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Bettinger, seconded by Committee <br />Member Errickson-Grahek to accept these donated light fixtures and <br />requested that a thank you letter be sent to the individual who donated these <br />light fixtures. All in Favor. Motion Carried <br /> <br />2. 19-014: Thursday evening BEWS Vendor(s) Event Coordinator <br /> <br />There have been conversations regarding holding a longer term summer <br />event, possibly tied in with the Bald Eagle Water Ski Shows. Ms Angela <br />Conley is interested in helping to coordinate this event and attended this <br />plan which included potential goals, <br />logistics, and budget, types of vendors, etc. Ms Conley indicated her interest <br />to undertake this position. <br />3. Motion made by Committee Waeghe, second by Committee Member Seeley <br />to appoint her as the Volunteer Event Leader for the Centerville Thursday <br />Night Vendor Event. All in Favor. Motion Carried. <br />Please see November Committee Member minutes from November to additional <br />information. <br /> <br />3. <br />This event is scheduled from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and includes skating and the <br />following activities, if available: Star Gazing, Snow Shoeing, Sledding, Fat Bikes <br />and Cross Country Skiing. The Wargo Nature Center will have staff on hand with <br />Fat Tire Bikes, Kick sleds and Snow Shoes. The Public Works Department will do <br />what they can to provide good ice on the rink(s). They will also deliver the pallets <br />for the bonfire. In addition, the Park & Recreation Committee members will be <br />pm for set up. Current inventory on hand: 1000 paper cups, a number of popcorn <br />tins, coco; additional popcorn has been ordered. Committee Member Waeghe will <br />continue to handle the promotion of the event. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />This agenda item has been tabled to the February meeting <br /> <br />Ў͵ <br />Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br />
