Centerville 2040 Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br /> <br />Community Designation: The Metropolitan Council identifies Centerville <br />Emerging Suburban Edge (Map 1-1) community. Emerging suburban <br />as an <br />edge communities offer both connections to urban amenities and the <br />proximity to open spaces that characterizes a rural lifestyle. The growth <br />patterns in these communities demonstrate the challenges of changing from <br />rural to suburban. New developments are typically built in a traditional <br />suburban pattern. <br />Emerging suburban edge communities are expected to plan for forecasted <br />population and household growth.
