CITY OF CENTERVILLE REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: March 25, 2020 Public Works/Engineering V.1 TITLE OF ISSUE: Stormwater Polution Prevention Program - Public Input Meeting BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: Annually, as required by our permit to discharge stormwater into waters of the state via our Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4), we hold a public input meeting to take comments on our Stormwater Polution Prevention Program (SWPPP). In preparation for this input meeting, we published notice in the local paper for such meeting at 6:30 PM on March 25. Given the declared State of Emergency and the recommendations not to gather groups of people, we felt it prudent to postpone this public input meeting. There is no deadline to hold this meeting, other than the end of the year, so we can easily delay. That being said, we though we would put it on the agenda and note that it was delayed so there was no confusion if someone was planning to attend. COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: N/A REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: No formal action necessary. Staff will reschedule the meeting when appropriate.
