<br />NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILINGS FOR OFFICE
<br /> The candidate filing period will be open between Tuesday, May 19, 2020 and Tuesday, June
<br />2, 2020, during office hours. Our offices will be closed for Memorial Day, Monday, May 25,
<br />2020.
<br />Completed documents/fees must be received, physically, in the filing office by 5:00 p.m. on
<br />Tuesday, June 2. Anoka County has a drop box located in front of the Anoka County
<br />Government Center at 2100 3rd Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303. Completed candidate affidavits
<br />and filing fees (or petition in lieu of fee) can be placed into a sealed envelope in the drop box.
<br />Candidates are also able to file or withdraw by mail or delivery service. The delivered
<br />documents must be complete and include the filing fee or petition in lieu of a filing fee.
<br />At the time of publication of this notice, state law does not allow for the electronic submission
<br />of affidavits of candidacy. Should this change, we will provide updated information at
<br />anokacounty.us/elections as soon as it is available.
