City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 11, 2020 <br />measures examples would be working from home and staggering shifts and or longer shifts <br />and the only person in the office and avoid community gatherings He stated our <br />infrastructure is very self-reliant. Public Work do test water on a daily basis and check our <br />lift stations. He is very confident on our infrastructure Mayor Paar stated that he and Mr. <br />Statz are going to get some insight and training on webinars. Mr. Statz stated that he will be <br />in Duluth for a conference for MN Festival and Events Association. <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso state you received this in your city about Park and Rec focusing on <br />what they are calling Main Street Market right before the Water Ski Show. They have <br />someone who is coordinating that. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated he wanted to thank Ms. Kris Sweeney for filling for our City <br />Clerk while she is out on a family emergency. She not just doing her job but also the City <br />d an election. Thank you to Ms. Suzanne Seeley <br />and all the other election judges. You did a fantastic job. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski stated Planning and Zoning had some discussion on nuisance <br />lighting issue, the street project around Southern Rail and Sorel Street how are they going <br />to deal with the parking when the street project starts. They discussed the Old Mill Estates <br />which was approved tonight and a discussion on the moratorium issue. <br /> <br />Council Member Montain stated that the North Metro on clarifying and cleaning up the joint <br />powers agreement. Making sure that is get updated. He stated they are still working on the <br />FCC on franchise fees. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar thanked council and for their composure. It was a heated meeting. He stated <br />Mr. Statz did a ton of work with the presentation and it was awesome. He stated he <br />appreciates everyone for being respectful and their opinions. He stated we have learn <br />something from this and not everything is set in stone. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Adjourn <br />the March 11, 2020 City Council Meeting at 11:23 p.m. All in favor.
