<br /> <br /> <br />THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #EDA 20-02 <br />A BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT CAMPAIGN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a primary purpose of the Economic Development Authority is to promote existing <br />businesses within the city of Centerville. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, many businesses have been forced to close, <br />restrict access or have otherwise been hurt by the associated economic downturn. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in an effort to help local businesses promote their business through these <br />unprecedented times, the EDA feels that providing professional assistance with social media <br />advertising and promotion would be beneficial to the business and the local economy as a whole. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND KNOWN TO ALL, that the Board of <br />Commissioners, of the Centerville EDA hereby establishes a business spotlight campaign to be <br />h will be to provide professional marketing <br />assistance to randomly selected businesses in the city on a rotating basis. The program will be <br />constrained by the allocated budget and pace at which our partners can produce such materials to <br />assist selected businesses. The campaign is open to those businesses operating in the city of <br />Centerville during the duration of the program.
