CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />May 20, 2020 <br />EDA <br />VIII.1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Revolving Loan and Grant Program <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The EDA's Revolving Loan and Grant Program has, thus far, gone largely underutilized. Staff did recently <br />send information out to a local business on the program after learning that the business was looking to expand. <br /> <br />Staff would like to know if the EDA wishes to have another "grant application solicitation" or if we will simply <br />continue to offer it on a first come first serve basis. <br /> <br />Additionally, the EDA could consider the terms of the program to decide if making those terms more attractive <br />is something that should be considered. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />N/A <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to set a deadline and solicit applications for the RLG program.
