The <br />declaration allows flexibility in fiscal and personnel policy matters when needed to <br />address needs related to the pandemic. It also affirms our ability to recover costs through <br />state and federal programs. <br /> <br />City Hall <br />Access to City Hall has been closed to the public since March 19. All permit applications <br />can be made on line. City staff has been updating the readerboard and website remotely. <br />The City Administrator, Clerk and Finance Director are working from home. With the <br />th <br />recent extension of the Stay at Home Order to May 18, we continue our remote working <br />arrangements, as the intent of the Order is for those who can work from home to continue <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) <br />2020 Strategic Plan <br />th <br />The EDA held a special meeting on April 29 <br />to review ways in which they could help the <br />business community during this difficult time. <br />A business spotlight initiative is being <br />developed to assist businesses with gaining <br />exposure through a custom developed video <br />about their business and a featured <br />advertisement, both distributed through the <br />web page. <br /> <br />nd ways to better communicate with the City <br />Council and other parts of the Cnd, a presentation was made, by <br />EDA President Hanzal, to the City Council earlier this year.
