City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />June 6, 2006 <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hanzal, seconded by Commissioner Love, to close the <br />public hearing. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that action would be needed this evening on this <br />matter. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hanzal asked if it affects the cemetery at all. City Administrator Larson <br />indicated it should not. <br /> <br />Motion by Chair Hanson, seconded by Commissioner Wood to table. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 2. Consideration of Amending Chapter 154 of the Centerville Code – Amending <br />Language Relating to Permissible Encroachments into Front Yards <br /> <br />Chair Hanson opened the public hearing at 6:43 p.m. <br /> <br />There were no public comments. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner Wood, to close the <br />public hearing. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner, seconded by Commissioner Hanzal, to recommend <br />approval of the amendment to Chapter 154 of the Centerville Code. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> None. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Transfer of Use Permit (Performance Auto to Launderville’s Auto Repair) <br />th <br />7139 – 20 Avenue <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated the property was leased and someone else moved in <br />to do the same thing and there was a permit issued and the request has been to transfer the <br />permit. <br /> <br />Commissioner Love asked if there would be conditions placed now that would not have <br />been then. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that there may be disassembled cars sitting out or <br />noise but there are regulations in place to cover those issues. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 8 <br />
