CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />June 10, 2020 <br />Administration <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Z-Systems Contract for Audio Visual Equipment/Installation <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />As part of the work being contemplated for the City Hall Renovation project, the audio/visual system will be <br />replaced. The existing system has long surpassed its useful life. City staff has previously explored several <br />vendors and solicited proposals. Staff has chosen the preferred vendor and asked them to submit an updated <br />proposal for the work (see attached). They have completed recent projects in Circle Pines and Ham Lake. <br />Their equipment and installation is on the state bid, so competitive bidding has already taken place and there is <br />no requirement for a second quote.
