CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />June 11, 2020 <br />EDA <br />VIII.2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Resolution EDA 20-04 Revising the EDA's Revolving Loan and Grant Program Guidelines <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />With the EDA's Revolving Loan and Grant Program (RLGP) having been in place for close to a year, now, with <br />only on applicant, staff thought it may be time to revisit the program. Through feedback from business owners <br />and staff's exploration of the various potential projects, we have formulated some potential changes to the <br />program's guiding documents. We hope these changes will clarify and simplify the application materials, <br />expand the eligible project base and spark renewed interest in the program. <br /> <br />See attached mark-up of the Revolving Loan and Grant Program. <br /> <br />The EDA should discuss the merits of these proposed changes. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />Costs vary.
