<br />Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br />The Marketing subcommittee continues to plan for scheduled events in the fall of 2020, <br />such as the MNCAR Expo, which is a gathering of real estate professionals. <br /> <br />North Metro Real Estate Summit <br />The North Metro Real Estate Summit, produced in conjunction with the Minnesota Real <br />Estate Journal, which was scheduled for September is being converted into a virtual event. <br /> <br />Business 4 Business <br />Greater MSP, the <br />Minnesota Consortium of <br />Community Developers <br />(MCCD) and Counties are <br />joining together with <br />other partners, like local <br />Chambers of Commerce <br />to develop a program <br />called Business 4 <br />Business. The program <br />will rely on donations from businesses who are successfully navigating the current crisis. <br />Then, small businesses, of less than 20 employees, a non-home based location and less <br />than $1 M in annual revenue will be allowed to apply for grants of $7,500 and/or technical <br />assistance, funded through that pool of money. <br /> <br /> <br />FINANCE <br /> <br />Fund Balance and City Hall Renovation Financing Plan <br />A city hall renovation finance plan is on the agenda for this work session along with a <br /> <br />COVID-19 Relief Programs <br />Staff is keeping tabs on draft legislation that would make available federal funds for COVID- <br />19 relief to cities, offsetting expenses related to the pandemic. Below, is a draft chart <br />showing the potential funding available to us under one draft of the bill. <br /> <br />
