<br /> <br /> <br />THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #EDA 20-05 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING <br />CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a primary purpose of the Economic Development Authority (EDA) is to promote <br />existing businesses within the city of Centerville. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in support of this purpose, the EDA is working with the local newspapers to offer <br />affordable advertising for direct purchase and is pursuing agreements with the paper for EDA- <br />culture or advertisements run in conjunction <br />CenterStage program. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND KNOWN TO ALL, that the Board of <br />Commissioners, of the Centerville EDA hereby Establishes a Newspaper Advertising Campaign to <br />subsequently authorize specific advertisement <br />purchases via simple motions or through delegation to EDA staff. <br /> <br />THE VOTE OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR ADOPTION OF THIS <br />RESOLTUION WAS _____________________ IN FAVOR OF THE RESOLUTION. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Economic Development Authority of the City of Centerville <br />th <br />this 15 day of July, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br />Jeff Hanzal, President <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Secretary, Teresa Bender <br /> <br />
