CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST <br />FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />August 5, 2020 <br />Parks <br />V.2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Acorn Creek Park Parking <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Previously, the committee approved a rough draft of the design for parking spaces to be constructed at Acorn <br />Creek Park, in conjunction with the Old Mill Estates Development. A formal drawing of those improvements <br />has now been prepared. The commission should review the drawings and offer any comments. <br /> <br />The committee may also wish to consider the installation of a drinking fountain at the same time as these <br />improvements. A water service stub already exists and will need to be extended to get behind the parking and <br />trail area. This may, therefore be an appropriate time to add the water fountain, if one was desired. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />Previously approved up to $22,000 for parking.
