Mr. Brian Nelson Request Regarding Parking (1694 Sorel Street) and the <br />Installation of No Parking Signs (West Side of Goiffon Road and both sides of <br />Centerville Road south of Heritage Street) for the upcoming St. Genevieve <br />Annual Chicken Dinner <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Terway, to <br />approve temporary installation of no parking signs on the west side of Goiffon Road <br />and both sides of Centerville Road south of Heritage Street for the upcoming St. <br />Genevieve Annual Chicken Dinner and to allow for use of the Park and Ride (1694 <br />Sorel Street). All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. 2006 Centerville Parade Use of Logo for Awards <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Council had previously approved the use of the <br />City’s logo in connection with the Fete des Lacs, so the parade should be covered. <br /> <br />Council agreed. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Ordinance #8, Second Series Amending City Code Chapter 154, Land Usage <br />Housekeeping Adoption to Correct Oversight of Codifier Omission <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br /> <br />approve Ordinance #8, Second Series – Housekeeping Adoption to Correct <br />Oversight of Codifier Omission. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator, Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the County had a meeting that was to be at St. <br />Genevieve’s but they moved it to their own facility due to an insurance requirement of <br />the Church. He then said that he would like the City to host future meetings and provide <br />the insurance so that meetings could be at St. Genevieve Parish Community Center. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that she and Mr. Larson discussed having the City provide a <br />certificate of insurance to cover the City for a year at a time to allow for various events to <br />be held at the Church facility. <br />Page 6 of 8 <br />
