Building Inspection <br />Bayview has plans submitted for all but two lots. Old Mill Estates has submitted six plans <br />with eight remaining in phase one. <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />LaMotte Park Stormwater Reuse System Expansion <br />A preconstruction meeting was held on 7/28 to review the project with the contractor and <br />city staff. Work should begin in 3 to 4 weeks. Once started, the project should be <br />completed in about 2 weeks. <br />Wellhead Protection Plan <br />The draft Part II plan has been sent to surrounding jurisdictions for comment. A Public <br />Hearing on the Plan is scheduled for August. <br />We received comments from Washington County which all seemed reasonable and easy to <br />incorporate into our plan. <br />Sewer Cleaning <br />After noticing some slow flow through our mainline sewer along Centerville Lake, staff <br />engaged a contractor to help investigate and mitigate any issues. They have now completed <br />the root removal with several small root clumps being removed. Sewage is again flowing <br />normally. <br />2020 Downtown Street and Utility Improvements <br />Water main installation is complete, including most services to the property line. <br />Installation of services into homes will commence in a few weeks. <br />Storm sewer is being installed east of Centerville Road and should near completion by the <br />end of next week. Street construction will follow, including curb and gutter. <br />PARKS AND RECREATION <br />Committee Vacancy <br />The parks committee has one open seat and is looking for candidate. Please apply on the <br />city's website: Application for Committee Appointment <br />Music in the Park <br />Music in the Park kicked off its season on July 21 with a performance by A Dying Breed. Over 40 <br />people attended and social distancing practices were well followed. <br />
