• Election Sanitary Accommodations <br />• Mobile Computers and software and other remote work expenses <br />• City Hall Renovation Project (glass window at front counter) <br />• Cubical walls, etc. to promote social distancing <br />Staff plans to have a summary of these items and projected costs ready for discussion at our <br />August 26 h meeting. The deadline for expending these funds is November 15, 2020. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Old Mill Estates <br />The developer has requested approval of the developer's agreement for Phase II at our next <br />City Council meeting (8/12). They plan to move forward with construction of the second phase <br />immediately afterwards, depending on contractor availability. <br />Bay View Villas (Waterworks Site) <br />The developer continues to work on site clean-up, restoration and landscaping. <br />A meeting was held on site with various agencies to clear up some outstanding wetland <br />related issues. <br />7241 Main Street <br />The prospective developer of this property recently contacted the city to reengage in the <br />process of subdividing the property into 2 or 3 lots. We anticipate a sketch plan in the <br />near future. <br />Block 7 Property <br />After the City Council Work Session in late April, regarding the Block 7 redevelopment <br />project, staff reengaged with the developer to discuss the possibility of approaching the project <br />without the use of Tax Increment Financing. The developer has said they will explore this <br />option and, if viable, bring back a new proposal. No recent activity. <br />Centerville Storage (20' Ave. Mini Storage) <br />All fees have now been collected and permits issued. The developer intends to begin <br />construction shortly. <br />Atlas Villas Memory Care Project (1825 Main Street) <br />The developer has received bids for the project, but they were higher than expected. They <br />are attempting to rebid some of the elements of the project to get costs down and hope to <br />break ground in the fall. Meanwhile the developer is coordinating the necessary <br />administrative work to vacate a drainage and utility easement through the property. The <br />public hearing for this easement vacation is set for August 4 at the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br />Development Inquiries <br />0 Developer looking for small residential subdivision land. <br />
