RESOLUTION NO. 20- -d"� N <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE <br />IN STORM WATER FEES <br />AND AN OFFSETTING REDUCTION IN WATER FEES <br />WHEREAS, City Staff have identified that future Storm Water Fund revenues are insufficient to <br />cover projected needs over the next ten years; and <br />WHEREAS, an analysis of the alternatives determines that the needs are best met with a 5% <br />increase in storm water fees: and <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable to begin the fee increases at this time; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council does not wish to raise city fees overall; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CENTERVILLE, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />The Council directs the City Administrator to raise the fee schedule for storm water purposes by <br />5%; and, <br />The Council directs the City Administrator to reduce the fee schedule for water in an amount <br />equal or greater than needed to offset the storm water increase; and, <br />The Council authorizes the City Administrator or his designee to implement the increase on <br />utility bills starting in July. <br />PASSED and adopted by the Centerville City Council this the 27th day of May, 2020. <br /> <br />D.
