STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />RESOLUTION #20-0,,,0 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING EXISTING EASEMENT & AUTHORIZING NEW <br />DRAINAGE/UTILITY EASEMENTS ON PARCEL ID #23-31-22-12-0007, (LOT 2, <br />BLOCK 1 JAMES COMMERCIAL ADD) (1825 MAIN STREET) <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held before the Planning & Zoning Commission of City of <br />Centerville on August 4, 2020 to obtain public input regarding the proposed vacation of the <br />existing easement and the authorization of the proposed new drainage/utility easements on said <br />parcel of land; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended to City Council the approval of <br />said vacation and authorization of the proposed new drainage/utility easements on said parcel as <br />attached and made a part of this document; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 26, 2020 the City Council of the City of Centerville entertained and <br />discussed the matter; and <br />WHEREAS a motion was <br />made by Council Member L� and seconded <br />by Council Member to remove the existing 20' easement on Parcel ID <br />#23-31-22-12-0007 and Authorize the Placement of New Drainage/Utility Easements as Follows: <br />Drainage and Utility Easement Description: That part of Lot 2, Block 1,1AMES COMMERCIAL <br />ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as <br />follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 2, thence North 89 degrees 37 minutes <br />53 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the south line of said Lot 2 a distance of 61.25 feet; <br />thence North a distance of 27.08 feet; thence South 89 degrees 42 minutes 09 seconds West a <br />distance of 138.90 feet to the west line, of said Lot 2; thence South 00 degrees 17 minutes 51 <br />seconds East 25.46 feet, along said west line, to the southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence South <br />89 degrees 37 minutes 53 seconds East, along said south line, a distance of 138.77 feet to the point <br />of beginning. EXCEPT, the west 5 feet and the south 10 feet of thereof. Together with, the north <br />15.00 feet; the west and east 5.00 feet, which lies north of the south 10.00 feet and south of the <br />north 15.00 feet of said Lot 2, Block 1. (Per attached diagram). A roll call vote was taken and the <br />item passed unanimously; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA AND KNOWN TO ALL: <br />That the City Administrator or his designee will record this document and its attachment with <br />Anoka County and it will become a part of the records of said County. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Centerville this 26th day of August, 2020. <br />y <br />a <br />.... .... ._ .... � �,..
