Update inventory again in 2022and 2027. <br />Effort: 10 hoursfor each update <br />How: Complete worksheet inventory of potential contamination sources <br />located within the Inner Wellhead Management Zone.Identify any <br />needed changes to the Wellhead Protection Implementation Plan based <br />on results of the updated inventory. <br />Status: Currently implemented. <br />Objective 3: Develop a spill response plan to address large spills within the DWSMA. <br />Action 3A: Develop a spill response plan for City staff to respond to a large spill in <br />the DWSMA and address potential contamination threats to water <br />supply system. <br />Who: City of Centervillestaff <br />Cooperators: Anoka County, MDH, and Neighboring Communities <br />When: 2023 <br />Effort: 80-100 hours <br />How: Work with local emergency management teams to identifythreats to <br />groundwater resources. Prepare spill response plan to outline <br />responsibilities and actions required to address potential impact to <br />water supply system. <br />Status: Not currently implemented. <br />Objective 4: Educate owners of properties containing storage tanksof the importance of spill <br />prevention and best management practices. <br />Action 4A: Contact relevant property owners and make them aware of their <br />placement within the City’s wellhead protection area.
