CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />Verville <br />Agenda Item # <br />Department: <br />Requested Meeting Date: <br />VIL 1 <br />EDA <br />September 16, 2020 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />7087 Centerville Road - Release of Grant Funds <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The owner of 7087 Centerville Road has completed the grant -eligible work on his property and submitted an <br />invoice for reimbursement. Staff is concerned that the work done does not match what was communicated in <br />the grant application process. An email exchange between staff and the owner is attached for your review <br />(you'll want to read from the bottom, up). This email chain will give details of staffs concerns and the owner's <br />explanation. <br />Staff is recommending a partial release of funds, with the remaining funds being made available for further <br />decorative work, such as the addition of an iron railing, or additional decorative concrete work.
