COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Resolution # 20- L_ <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET AND TAX LEVIES FOR 2021 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has given input to staff regarding the 2021 General Fund Budget and Property <br />Tax Levy at several work sessions in 2019; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, County of Anoka, <br />State of Minnesota, that the preliminary city budget is hereby adopted as follows: <br />General Fund $2,796,475 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following sums of money be transmitted to Anoka County for <br />purposes of a preliminary property tax levy for purposes of the Truth in Taxation property taxes notice for the <br />following purposes: <br />General Fund Levy $2,364,916 <br />Debt Service Levies: <br />Anoka Co 31 - Fund 352 - 2013A Street Reconstruction 166,400 <br />Anoka Co 34 - Fund 351 - 2016A Street Refunding „......ww211,7$9 <br />Total Debt Levies $378,189 <br />Total Proposed Tax Levy 2 743 105 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that because sufficient funds have been irrevocably deposited into the debt <br />service fund, the following levy amounts are hereby cancelled: <br />Anoka Co 32 - Fund 348 - 2013A Street Reconstruction <br />$ 219,300 <br />Anoka Co 33 - Fund 352 - Cable TV Capital Note <br />7,698 <br />Anoka Co 34 - Fund 351 - 2016A Street Refunding <br />37,000 <br />Total Cancelled Levy <br />26� 3 998 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of <br />this resolution to the county auditor of Anoka County, Minnesota along with all required documentation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council sets the date for the Truth in Taxation budget hearing <br />for December 9, 2019 at 6:30 PM at Centerville City Hall. <br />Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 23rd day of September, 2020. <br />Mayor, D.
