<br />City of Centerville <br />Park & Recreation Committee <br />August 5, 2020 <br />Parks by the Centennial Little League, pending receipt of a schedule. They have since submitted their <br />schedule. The committee would like them to notify the city if they will not be using the fields for the <br />entire practice. <br />Burial Mound Interpretive Sign – Anoka County previously presented their plan for an interpretive <br />sign near the Native American Burial Mound, near Mound Court. This sign has been completed. <br /> <br />Financials (January through June) – Currently are under budget due to cancellation of community <br />events. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Updates – Mr. Tom Wilharber, City Council Member - NONE <br /> <br />VIII. ACTION ITEMS REVIEW <br /> <br />16-026 Website – add: City Council held workshop, planning on follow up at beginning of 2021 <br />16-031 Committee Member Vacancy – no change <br />18-011 Interpretive Signs - to be installed at Hidden Spring & Trail Side Parks <br />19-011 Sledding Lights – to be installed at top of the hill, in the middle; irrigation work will begin <br /> soon <br />19-013 Master P & R Trail Plan – on hold until 2021 <br />19-014 Main Street Market – on hold until 2021 <br />19-020 Basketball Court – on hold until 2021 <br />19-022 ADA Playground Equipment - Research for ADA adaptive play equipment should begin soon. <br />19-036 Centennial Lakes Little League – COMPLETED <br />20-002 Fete des Lacs – on hold until 2021 <br />20-004 P & R Events Calendar – this project should be started soon in readiness of 2021 activities <br />20-005 add: remove & replace 2 oak trees in Acorn Creek Park, along new trail; <br /> <br />X.
