(C) Location. The Public Works Director shall produce a mailbox location plan for the city and designate <br />group mailbox locations. Residents replacing existing mailboxes will check with City Hall for the new <br />group box locations. <br />(D) Handicapped and elderly persons. Any handicapped or elderly person who would have difficulty using <br />a group box location shall be exempt from this section upon notification of handicap or physical <br />condition to the City Hall. <br />(E) Removal of paper boxes from the right-of-way. As of 8-1-1990, all paper boxes not in group locations <br />will be removed from the city street right-of-way. <br />(F) Cul-de-sac. Group mailbox and paper box stands shall not be located in any cul-de-sac. Box locations <br />will be allowed on streets entering and leaving the cul-de-sac. <br />(G) New developments. Developer agreements shall provide for installation of mailboxes in new <br />developments. <br />(H) Maintenance. Maintenance of the mailboxes and platforms shall be the responsibility of the residents <br />served. <br />Penalty, see § 93.99 <br />Ord. #48, adopted 05/24/1989 <br />§ 93.04 MAINTENANCE OF ADJOINING RIGHT OF WAY. § 93.04 MAINTENANCEOF ADJOINING RIGHT OF WAY. <br />(A) Duty of Property Owners to Cut Grass and Weeds and Maintain Trees and Shrubs. Every owner of <br />property abutting on any street shall cause the grass and weeds to be cut from the line of such property <br />nearest to such street to the center of such street. If the grass or weeds in such a place attain a height in <br />excess of eight (8) inches it shall be prima facie evidence of a failure to comply with this Section. Every <br />owner of property abutting on any street shall subject to the provisions herein requiring a permit therefor <br />trim cut and otherwise maintain all trees and shrubs in unhazardous and healthy condition from the line <br />of such property nearest to such street to the center thereof. <br />(B) Failure of Owner.
