THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION #EDA 20-04 <br />RESOLUTION REVISING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY'S REVOLVING LOAN AND GRANT PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, a primary purpose of the Economic Development Authority (EDA) is to promote <br />existing businesses within the city of Centerville. <br />WHEREAS, in support of this purpose, the EDA established a Revolving Loan and Grant <br />Program (RLGP) with resolution #EDA 19-05. <br />WHEREAS, since the RLGP's inception, approximately one year ago, there has been just one <br />applicant. <br />WHEREAS, city staff has solicited feedback on the program from local businesses and has further <br />reviewed the program documents and is suggesting changes to those documents that seek to <br />clarify the programs guidelines, expand the suite of potentially funded projects and enhance the <br />program's participation levels to entice more applicants. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND KNOWN TO ALL, that the Board of <br />Commissioners, of the Centerville EDA hereby revises its Revolving Loan and Grant Program as <br />detailed in the attached documents. <br />THE VOTE OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR ADOPTION OF THIS <br />RESOLTTION WASH IN FAVOR OF THE RESOLUTION. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Economic Development Authority of the City of Centerville <br />this 17' day of June, 2020. <br />Attest: <br />" <br /> Teresa a Bender <br />
