7.Manufacturer: Simplex Grinnell to match fire alarm control panelor equal. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 GENERAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Contractor shall provide and install all fire alarm system wiring complete from termination <br />to termination. All wiring shall be installed in conduit. Wire shall be as specified and color <br />coded as recommended by the manufacturer. <br />B. Where wire is installed in conduit, contractor shall provide and install junction boxes and <br />outlet boxes. <br />C. Conduit and conductor type and installation shall meet the requirements of Division 26. <br />D. Power supplies, low voltage transformers, relays, enclosures, and all other components <br />required for a complete installation shall be provided to accommodate the quantity of <br />strobes, horns/strobes and smoke detectors shown on the Drawings. Provide all control, <br />monitoring, and relay modules as required for a complete and functional system. <br />E. The fire detection system shall be connected to 2 telephone lines. <br />3.02 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Wiring associated with the fire alarm control panel shall be Class B per NEMA SB4-1985. <br />B. Smoke detectors shall be ceiling or wall mounted as shown on the Drawings. <br />C. Installation shall conform to NFPA 70 and code and standards. <br />D. The digital alarm communication transmitter shall transmit the following alarm conditions <br />to the central station monitoring facility: <br />1. Selection and initiation of a contract with a central station monitoring facility is not <br />required in this contract. <br />3.03 TESTING AND COMMISSIONING <br />A. Fire System Supplier shall provide a factory authorized service engineer or certified factory <br />trained individual of the fire detection system manufacturer to perform the following: <br />1. Verify that all wiring connections are complete and correct. <br />2. Make final adjustments of all sensing devices. <br />3. Calibrate all equipment to obtain optimum performance. <br />4. Instruct Owner’s personnel in the proper maintenance of the systems and in the <br />methods of making periodic checks and adjustments. <br />B. Contractor shall deliver to the Owner: <br />1.
