AdoptaFlowerGardenProgram <br />ProgramGuidelines <br /> Eachparticipantwillbeassignedagardeninoneoftheparksorotherpublicspaces. <br />Whenyousignupfortheprogram,wewillaskyoutochoseapreferredgardenandwilldoour <br />besttoaccommodateyourrequest. <br />Eachgardenwillbeequippedwitharainbarrelforusebythevolunteer.Citystaffwill <br />periodicallyfilltherainbarrelswithrecycledwaterfromthestormwaterreusesystem. <br /> Eachgardenwillreceiveabudgetof$100annually.Thisbudgetmaybeusedatthe <br />foritemssuchasseeds,plants/flowers(annuals/perennials),grasses, <br />discretion <br />enhancedplantbedding/soil,mulch,plantfoodandthelike.Participantswillneedtoturnin <br />receiptsfortheirsuppliestobereimbursed.Thecitycannotreimburseforcoststhatarenot <br />accompaniedbyareceipt. <br /> Participantswillbetaskedwiththeyearroundmaintenanceoftheirgardenandmayplantthe <br />gardenwithwhatevertheywish.Weinviteyoutoshowoffyourskillswithyourfavoriteplants. <br />Whenchoosingplants,justmakesuretheyblocktheviewofthesignormigrateoutside <br />thegardenandcausemowingorothermaintenanceissues.Pleasedonotplantvegetablesor <br />otherfruitbearingplants. <br /> Participantsmayplantthegardenwithperennialsculledfromtheirowngardensorplants, <br />grassesandflowerspurchasedwiththeirallocatedbudget. <br /> Participantswillberesponsibleforsupplyingtheirowngardeningequipmentsuchasspades, <br />glovesandotheritems. <br /> Whatelse???? <br /> <br />
