New Staff Member <br />CLPD welcomes officer Bryan <br />Johnson to the ranks. He comes <br />with experience in both <br />corrections and county law <br />enforcement. Welcome aboard! <br />COVID-19 <br />All staff members are now <br />healthy. <br />Centennial Fire District <br />CARES Act Funding <br />The Centennial Fire District <br />received a total of $100,000 <br />from its two members cities, <br />through the CARES Act, as <br />reimbursement for staff salaries, as allowed by the legislation. <br />Fire District Organizational Study <br />A survey of the firefighters has been sent out to all those on the department. It will request <br />feedback on issues of leadership, safety, training, and morale. <br />COVID-19 <br />All fire staff are now healthy and able to respond to calls. <br />Duty Crew <br />In an effort to ensure there is an effective response force to respond during the daytime hours, <br />the Centennial Fire District implemented a Applications for the <br />position were posted and four candidates have been selected. The four who were selected are <br />metro departments (Lake Johanna, Andover, <br />Minnetonka, and SMB Fire) who currently have the same program. The Duty Crew will <br />rotate from station to station within the district and respond to emergency incidents between <br /> The duty crew will also assist with duties <br />assigned by the Administrative staff. This program will greatly enhance the emergency <br />services provided to our communities. <br />Fire Steering Committee <br />The Fire Steering Committee met on August 27 to review the proposed 2021 budget. A zero <br />percent increase budget was adopted. <br />
