ADMINISTRATION
COVID-19 Response
City Hall
City Hall is currently open for in-person, early voting, only. Limited staff and/or election
judges will be on-site through November 2, 2020.
The City Council will be discussing a re-opening plan for city hall at their upcoming
Work Session on October 28.
Positive Case
A city employee recently tested positive for COVID-19 and has now fully recovered and
is back at work. The employee contracted the virus and was tested, all while on vacation
and, therefore, did not return to work during the time they were contagious. The
following protocols were followed in the handling of this instance, as outlined by the
Anoka County Health Department:
Meetings
All Committee and Commission meetings (P&Z, P&R, EDA, and CC) will continue to be
held via Zoom videoconferencing at least until the renovation work inside City Hall is
complete. The meetings are also broadcast live on North Metro TV and streamed on their
website. Additionally, meeting connection information is being posted on the website and
will be widely distributed so that the public can join. The City Council will be discussing
when and how in-person Council and Committee meetings might resume at their
upcoming Work Session on October 28.
