further understand their day to day operations. <br /> <br />Small Business Relief Grants (DEED) <br />Grant recipients are being notified, but a complete list of them is not yet available. <br /> <br />Quad Area Chamber of Commerce <br />Lunch & Learns <br />The Quad Area Chamber of Commerce hosted another in-person lunch and learn event on <br />October 20, where members gathered at the Lino Lakes American Legion to hear about the <br />her advantages of membership. <br /> <br />Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br />Real Estate Development Summit <br />Anoka County Regional Economic Development sponsored and attended a Real Estate <br />Development Summit on October 13, at the Radisson Blu Hotel at the Mall of America. <br />The event hosted about 50 people in-person and about another 75 online. Speakers <br />generally held an optimistic view of the immediate future for development, across almost <br />all sectors. Even retail developers felt that there were still emerging markets, while others <br />waned. City staff who attended the meeting made several contacts with developers with <br />both multi-family residential and commercial interests. <br /> <br />ACRED Partner Meeting <br />A meeting of all ACRED stakeholder, including, county and city elected and appointed <br />officials, business leaders and staff members is scheduled for October 27 at 3:00 PM. <br />Elected officials who wish to participate, should contact city staff of a link to the web- <br />meeting. <br /> <br />ACRED Events <br />The Marketing <br />Subcommittee <br />continues to plan for <br />scheduled events in <br />the fall of 2020 in <br />conjunction with the <br />MN Real Estate <br />Journal. Some <br />events are being <br />converted into virtual <br />experiences.
