General <br />Yard Maintenance/Vermin <br />City-wide Clean-up Day <br />A City-wide Clean-up Day was held on Saturday, October 10 from <br />(Noon) at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. Atotal of 2642 lbs of appliances (18 units), 7.39 <br />tons of garbage, 2.53 tons of scrap metal, 5 tires and 31 bikes were taken in along with <br />. <br /> COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL <br /> l Use Permit <br />A deadline has been set for the completion of a fence around the north and east side of the <br />wer property. <br />th <br />7129 20Ave. <br />The owner has contacted the city and will be submitting information on the lighting <br />fixtures he intends to use as replacements for the existing fixtures. <br />Rehbein Black Dirt Operation Interim Use Permit <br />The planning commission will further discuss future actions related to the Interim Use <br />Permit which is set to expire at the end of the year for the Rehbein Black Dirt Operation. <br />PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br />City Hall Renovation <br />The COVID-19 related office area improvements are nearing completion, with paint <br />and carpet set to be done by the end of the week (10/30). From there, the contractor <br />will move into construction of the renovation work in the City Council Chambers and <br />front lobby area. This work should wrap up by mid-January. <br />The City Council will be discussing a re-opening plan for City Hall at their upcoming <br />work session on October 28. <br />Trucks <br />The new trucks we ordered almost a year ago are now in production and have <br />anticipated ship dates in November. The two large plow trucks that were having work <br />done on their dump boxes are completed and in service, just in time. <br />Misc. <br />Public works staff have been busy with preparing winter equipment and supplies of salt <br />rine. The water systems have been winterized and staff has assisted homeowner <br />& b <br />associations with winterizing their irrigation systems. Satellites will be removed from <br />city parks next week. All staff are healthy and on a regular work schedule. <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />LaMotte Park Stormwater Reuse System Expansion <br />All directional drilling work is complete and most of the irrigation pipe is installed.
