C. Participation in outdoor recreational activities or sports by an <br />individual or individuals within a single household as allowed by <br />paragraph 6.b. <br />h. Organized Adult Sports. Organized Adult Sports organizations and <br />programs must stop all in-person activities—including practices, group <br />workouts, games, and tournaments. <br />i. “Organized Adult Sports” means any sports activity, where <br />participants are adults, organized by an entity, association, club, or <br />organization providing for registration of participants and oversight on <br />a regular basis for a defined period of time. <br />ii. The requirement in this paragraph, 7.h, that Organized Adult Sports <br />stop in-person activities does not apply to: <br />A. Participation in outdoor recreational activities or sports by an <br />individual or individuals within a single household as allowed by <br />paragraph 6.b of this Executive Order. <br />B. Professional sports, meaning sports in which the athletes receive <br />non-de minimis payment for performance. <br />C. Any collegiate or university institution team or athlete participating <br />in intercollegiate athletics, provided that the team or athlete <br />follows guidance for sports activities as listed in Recommendations <br />for Different Levels of COVID-19 Transmission Among Higher <br />Education Institutions, available at MDH’s Institutes of Higher <br />Education website <br />(https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/schools/ihe. <br />html). <br />i. Higher education institutions. Higher education institutions, in consultation <br />with their governing boards, may offer in-person classes or activities <br />consistent with MDH guidelines for offering in-person or on-site activities and <br />programming at higher education institutions. Higher education institutions <br />must follow guidelines available at MDH’s Institutes of Higher Education <br />website <br />(https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/schools/ihe.html). This <br />includes following parameters set forth in Recommendations for Different <br />Levels of COVID-19 Transmission Among Higher Education Institutions, <br />available at MDH’s Institutes of Higher Education website. Education and <br />training programs not registered or licensed with OHE or part of the <br />Minnesota State Colleges and Universities or University of Minnesota <br />systems must follow the guidance provided by the state agency or governing <br />board under which they are authorized to operate.
