CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST <br />FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />December 2, 2020 <br />Parks and Recreation <br />V.3 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Main Street Market SHIP Grant <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Last year, a grant was secured to help fund the kick-off of the Main Street Market; a farmer's and crafts market <br />set to have a 6 week run in July & August of last year. The market was canceled due to COVID-19. The grant <br />was only good through 2020. However, Anoka County staff suggested applying for a similar funding source <br />with no funding cycle timelines. Staff has completed this application and is awaiting approval. The new <br />application covers the same items as the original grant, with a slightly higher budget (original grant was for <br />$2,900; new grant is for $3,500).
