CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST <br />FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />December 2, 2020 <br />Parks and Recreation <br />VI.1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Centennial Youth Hockey Association - Request for Ice Time - LaMotte Park Hockey Rink <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />As in past years, the CYHA has requested the use of the LaMotte Park Hockey Rink for practices and games. <br />There has not been a charge for this use in the past and staff is not suggesting there be one this year either. The <br />city makes no guarantees for the availability of ice or the warming house. Both are secondary priorities for our <br />staff, as they attend to plowing and other public works duties first. Additionally, their use would be subject to <br />any restrictions from state or local governments related to COVID mitigation. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />No cost.
