CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST <br />FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />December 8, 2020 <br />Planning and Zoning <br />4.1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Interim Use Permit - Rehbein Black Dirt <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Attached is a draft Interim Use Permit (IUP) and associated, draft Findings of Fact for an Interim Use Permit. <br />Rehbein's Black Dirt has an existing IUP which is set to expire at the end of the year and is seeking an <br />extension of that agreement. Staff is suggesting issuing a new IUP. The new IUP would have only minor <br />language changes from the last, but would also add a requirement for a Letter of Credit to cover the costs of <br />removal of existing piles of material, should that not be accomplished during the duration of the proposed IUP. <br /> <br />Also attached are photos from a recent compliance inspection. While there are compliance issues, the applicant <br />has generally been responsive to requests for correction. We, would of course, make correction of these issues <br />a condition of issuing the new IUP. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />N/A <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />After a staff report, the chair should open the public hearing to allow for public comment. He may invite <br />comment from the applicant as well.
