CITY OF CENTERVILLE REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: December 9, 2020 P & Z/Council VII.4 TITLE OF ISSUE: Accepting Resignations of Mr. Mark Haiden & Mr. Darrin Mosher BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: After five (5) years of serving on the Parks & Rec. Committe and serving seven (7) years on the Planning & Zoning Commission Mr. Mark Haiden and his family has desired to retire and move from the City of Centerville. As you are aware, Mr. Darrin Mosher ran for the Council Seat that would fill the remainder of Mayor Love's Council Seat. Mr. Mosher was successful and was declared the winner for that seat at the General Election. Mr. Mosher has served on the Commission for 13 years. The Council does wish that both Misters Haiden and Mosher good luck in their ventures and thank them very muchfortheirdedicationtothecommunitythattheyresideandhaveresidedin COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: No costs. REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Motion to direct staff to declare two (2) vacancies on the Planning & Zoning Commission and posting the vacancies on all Social Media avenues.
