<br /> <br /> <br />THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #EDA 21-01 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF MIKE GIOVINAZZO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 21, 2020, the EDA accepted the resignation of Commissioner Michael <br />Giovinazzo, contingent upon finding a replacement member for his seat, but declaring an opening <br />on the board, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as of January 20, 2021, the EDA has not yet found a replacement commissioner, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, out of respect for Mr. Giovinazzo the EDA finds it appropriate to waive the <br />contingency portion of the acceptance of his resignation, allowing him to resign prior to a new <br />member being identified. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND KNOWN TO ALL, that the Board of <br />Commissioners, on January 20, 2021, fully accepts the resignation of Commissioner Michael <br />Giovinazzo, having not yet filled the open seat on the board. <br /> <br />THE VOTE OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR ADOPTION OF THIS <br />RESOLTUION WAS UNANIMOUSLY IN FAVOR OF THE RESOLUTION. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Economic Development Authority of the City of Centerville <br />this 20th day of January, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Jeff Hanzal, President <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Secretary, Katie Schlundt <br /> <br />
