CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />January 20, 2021 <br />EDA <br />VIII.3 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Review of 2021 Strategic Plan and Budget <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Attached you'll find an updated budget projection based on the outcome of the CARES Act expenditures late in <br />2020, which had a major effect on what the EDA ended up spending out of its own funds. Additionally, we've <br />updated costs of some of our programs based on more recent information. <br /> <br />The end result is that there is unallocated room in the budget, which should be discussed by the board to ensure <br />we have a strategic use for those funds and an ability to communicate that plan to the Council and public. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />N/A <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Discussion item only.
