CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />Agenda Item # <br />January 27, 2021 <br />Administration <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Assessing Contract <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />City staff has been in discussions with several vendors regarding assessing services contracts. Our current <br />assessor, Ken Tolzmann, is retiring and has decided to end his contract at the completion of its term on <br />February 28, 2021. <br />We have received two proposals - one from Anoka County and the other from Mary Wells. Staff recommends <br />that the City Council accept the proposal from Mary Wells based on both cost and personal service <br />considerations.
