COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Resolution 9 21- <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE CENTERVILLE <br />REVOLVING LOAN AND GRANT PROGRAM <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has segregated funding for <br />business grant and loan projects in the City of Centerville; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to establish a Revolving Loan and Grant program under MN State Statute <br />469.091; and <br />WHEREAS, the program offers grants and low interest loans (2%) to assist businesses with capital investments <br />in their properties for the betterment of the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the program is available to all businesses with a physical location in the city; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff anticipates that one or two businesses per year are likely to participate in the program; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, one business has made application, completed their project, and is awaiting funds; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, County of Anoka, <br />State of Minnesota, the City hereby establishes a grant and loan program as identified in Attachment A; and <br />The City Administrator is authorized to request an initial allocation to the program of $25,000 from the city's <br />HRA fund, administered by the county. <br />Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 27th day of January, 2021. <br />Mayor, D.
