This project would
be a fit under our well-being strategy as long as we’re able to include a clear plan around how the gardens would
promote well-being which you shared in your email. I like the guidelines you had shared too-we could consider including
the well-being benefits on that, reinforcing and promoting those well-being incentives such as outdoor activity, exercise,
connecting with nature, social connectedness, creativity etc. Outdoor spaces and connecting with nature are a good fit
for this, we would just need to be mindful to tie it in to well-being on our grant documents.

Thank you,
Erin

Erin Ostrowski
Anoka County SHIP Educator
Health Education
rd
2100 3 Avenue, Suite 600 | Anoka, MN 55303
Mobile: 763.204.0643| Fax: 763.324.1033
erin.ostrowski@co.anoka.mn.us

From: Mark Statz <MStatz@centervillemn.com>
Sent: Monday, February 8, 2021 6:55 PM
To: Erin N. I was thinking that the initiative certainly promotes outdoor activity, exercise and creativity. I’ve
1
