Department is currently hiring staff. b.Koski i.Planning & Zoning Commission the meeting had been moved to October 20, 2020. ii.Centennial Fire Distri Council Member Koski complimented Council Member Lakso for her involvement with great to be there to thank them for what they do, good to hear comments and see their interaction with both Co-Chiefs. He stated that discussions have been had regarding needed equipment that could be funded through the CARES Act Funding. c.Wilharber Council Member Wilharber stated that the Committee would be meeting the following week. Thanked Staff for assisting him the previous day. i.North Metro Telecommunications Commission Montain reported that they are working on the Franchise with Comcast will be addressed at their next meeting and hopefully will be approved shortly thereafter. He reported that they have spent their CARES Acting Funding and made their improvements ensuring employee and public safety. Council Member Montain also stated that the Commission is very busy with Fall sports and they are open to the public by appointment. He also reported that Century Link will be completed with their services in Anoka County on November 21, 2020. He reported that there are approximately 140 subscribers and they have been notified of it discontinuation of services. iii Centennial Lakes Police De Council Member Montain stated there will be a meeting of the board next month. XI.RECESS OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING Acting Mayor Montain recessed the Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting at 7:15 p.m. to provide for a five (5) minute break prior to the starting of the Closed Executive Session. CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION I.CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSSION This closed executive session is to address potential litigation related to a nuisance complaint th at 7353 - 20 Avenue. The meeting was opened at 7:20 p.m. 1.Potential Litigation Discussion II.ADJOURNMENT Acting Mayor Montain adjourned the Closed Executive Session at 7:59 p.m.
