COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Apartment Complex Concept Plan
The Planning and Zoning Commission was
presented with a concept plan for a 3-story,
96-unit apartment complex sited on
th
commercially zoned land between 20 and
st
21 Avenues, north of Main Street. The
project would require a Comprehensive
Plan Amendment and Rezoning. If the
developer chooses to pursue these land use
requests, a public hearing would be
scheduled to receive community input on
the proposal.

Peltier Estates
This 24-lot detached townhome project in the northeast corner of town was first reviewed and
approved in 2017/2018 but has sat dormant for several years as the builder worked through
other projects. They are now ready to move on the development and hope to begin grading in
the spring. A public hearing is scheduled for March 2, 2021 at the Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting to review the preliminary plat as a Planned Unit Development (PUD).
The development will feature a boardwalk style trail through the wetland, connecting to the
north end of Brian Drive and the walkway there.

th

Centerville Storage (20Ave. Mini Storage)
Building construction continues. Grading, paving and restoration work will finish up in the
Spring. The developer will be replacing the doors on the north end of the east building with
brick. The doors were erroneously placed there when site layout changes did not get
reflected in the building plans.

Old Mill Estates
