The
only problem was that you needed cable to watch. A couple of years ago, NMTV added live
streaming city meetings and other shows on their website, northmetrotv.com. Now, they are
happy to announce that you can watch all of their programs on your Roku and AppleTV, too.
No cable required. Just search NorthMetroTV (all one word)
download the new North Metro TV app. Within moments, you will be able to start watching live
city meetings and all of the rest right on your TV. The app is only available on AppleTV and
Roku, but NMTV hopes to expand to iOS, Android, and other devices soon.
E-mail eric@northmetrotv.com if you need any help or have any questions.
Property owners will receive two notices from Anoka County in the next month. The valuation notice will tell
you how your property is valued for property tax purposes. This is the only opportunity that you will have to
affect your property taxes for 2022. If you desire to discuss your valuation with the Assessor, her telephone
number is on the next page. If you desire to appeal the valuation, you must attend the meeting and submit an
appeal that evening. Both the Local Board of App
have the authority to changes values if deemed appropriate. The other notice is the property tax statement.
This will let you know the total amount of property taxes due for 2021. (Please see pages 3 and 4 for exam-
ples).
